For all the Cinderella wannabes out there, Portugal's most visited museum is the place to be. Its incredible collection of 70 17th- to 19th-century carriages is displayed within a modern and somewhat contradictory setting that was inaugurated in 2015. An absolute must-see is Pope Clement XI's gorgeous Coach of the Oceans, adorned with scarlet and gold, as well as the Antigo Picadeiro Real, the old royal riding school, located just across the street.
