Description
At the Museu Nacional do Azulejo in Lisbon, visitors can marvel at the vast array of hand-painted tile art. One of the most impressive pieces is a 36-meter mural depicting old Lisbon before the 1755 earthquake. Additionally, the museum boasts a Manueline cloister with intricate vaulting and azulejos in shades of blue and white, as well as a glorious baroque chapel adorned with gilded decoration. All of these masterpieces are housed in a beautiful 16th-century convent.
