Description

This 17th-century palace-turned-museum is a trove of some of the most exquisite artifacts you could imagine. Gathered by the Portuguese banker from the ripe age of 16, the collection includes glittering French silverware, priceless Qing vases, and lavish Indo-Chinese furniture. But even more impressive is the ornate decor of the apartments featuring intricately designed azulejos, frescoed walls, and sparkling chandeliers. It is well worth a visit to admire this remarkable display of history and grandeur.
