Fascinating military museum located near the Belem Tower

Museu dos Combatente is a fascinating military museum located near the Belem Tower. It is also near the Fort of Good Success (Forte do Bom Sucesso). While this museum is small, it contains some fine Portuguese military artifacts. There is also a small area that contains an air force museum.

Museu dos Combatente charges a nominal fee for admission. You will need to buy tickets near the fort. It is open daily from May through September. Don't miss the displays of military photos and other historical information.
