The Baixa star, a former bank transformed into a cavernous museum, is currently closed for renovations and will reopen with an admission fee (previously free). It showcases iconic furniture from renowned designers such as Charles Eames, Frank Gehry, and the Campana Brothers; as well as high-end haute couture from Givenchy, Christian Dior and Balenciaga, among others. The museum boasts a collection of furniture, industrial design and couture dating back to the 1930s.
