Modern art and more

Part of the extraordinary Gulbenkian, Centro de Arte Moderna José de Azeredo Perdigão is a fine modernist building set in a lovely park, with a canteen and bookshop. Its collection is an excellent foil to the Old Masters adorning the main museum, comprising Portuguese works from the last 100 years.

Modernism is represented by key artists, such as surrealists António Pedro and António Dacosta. It has interesting exhibitions, and also features weekend guided visits, talks and activities for children.
