Portuguese parish

Carnide is a freguesia, a residential area, clustered around the church of São Lourenço de Carnide. The small parish has a population of under 20000 people, and it is interesting for its authentic city scapes, and attractions such as Nossa Senhora da Luz, Colégio Militar and the Colombo Centre.

Carnide is also well known for its dining establishments. There are many restaurants and cafes in this area, with reasonable prices, and very good food, perfect if you want to dine like a local.
